17^th Annual Parent Institute Day: A Back-to-School Day for Parents & Educators will bring over 1,000 parents, educators, child care providers and volunteers together to network and learn about issues that affect all of those who are involved in the lives of children. With a full program in English (25 workshops) and Spanish (15 workshops) held in three sessions, we feel that this year’s event is both timely and on-target in the many issues covered. Reaching subjects on Literacy, Internet Safety, Violence in Dating, Autism, Developing Early Reading & Writing Skills, Immigrant Studies in Universities, and many others--there is something for everyone.
